John Whiteside Parsons (born Marvel Whiteside Parsons on October 2, 1914 – died June 17, 1952) was an American rocket propulsion researcher at the California Institute of Technology and co-founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Aerojet Corp.. An enthusiastic occultist, he was one of the earliest American devotees of Aleister Crowley, and a leading member of his organisation, Ordo Templi Orientis.
Parsons and the Space Age While his formal education was limited, Parsons demonstrated tremendous scientific aptitude, particularly in chemistry. His rocket research was some of the earliest in the United States, and his pioneering work in the development of solid fuel and the invention of JATO units for aircraft was of great importance to the start of humanity's space age. The noted engineer Theodore von Kármán, Parsons's friend and benefactor, declared that the work of Parsons and his peers helped usher in the age of space travel.[1] Parsons co-founded the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, commonly referred to as JPL
Parsons and the Occult Parsons was also an avid student and practitioner of the occult arts, and a Thelemite. He saw no contradiction between his scientific and magical pursuits, and before each rocket test launch, Parsons would invoke the Greek god Pan.
Parsons was chosen by Aleister Crowley to lead Agape Lodge of the Thelemic Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) in California, in 1942, after Crowley expelled Wilfred Smith from the position.[2]
Sara Northrup (aka "Sarah Elizabeth" or "Betty" Northrup), began living with Parsons after his wife, Sara's half-sister Helen Northrup, left with Wilfred Smith. Sara Northrup later married L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology and sometime magical partner of Parsons.
Parsons and Hubbard participated in a ritual known as the Babalon Working which is famous in occult circles — loosely, it was an attempt to summon a living goddess and change the course of history. Paul Rydeen writes:

Bill Gates, Rockefeller and the GMO giants know something we don’t"Doomsday Seed Vault" in the Arctic

Inaugurated in February 2008, this "frozen Noah’s Ark" is back in the news following UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon’s recent visit ahead of the key international climate talks in Copenhagen in December 2009. In this article, written in December 2007, F. William Engdahl comments that, when Gates, Rockefeller and Agribusiness get together on a project, it is prudent to take notice. If past deeds are any indicator, those who have taken it upon themselves to locate and store seeds in this secure facility are not benevolent servants of humanity, nor the preservers of life. Just consider the Rockefeller Foundation’s interest since the 1920’s to turn science to the service of eugenics. So, indeed, what is really going on here?

One thing Microsoft founder Bill Gates can’t be accused of is sloth. He was already programming at 14, founded Microsoft at age 20 while still a student at Harvard. By 1995 he had been listed by Forbes as the world’s richest man from being the largest shareholder in his Microsoft, a company which his relentless drive built into a de facto monopoly in software systems for personal computers.
In 2006 when most people in such a situation might think of retiring to a quiet Pacific island, Bill Gates decided to devote his energies to his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the world’s largest ‘transparent’ private foundation as it says, with a whopping $34.6 billion endowment and a legal necessity to spend $1.5 billion a year on charitable projects around the world to maintain its tax free charitable status. A gift from friend and business associate, mega-investor Warren Buffett in 2006, of some $30 billion worth of shares in Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway put the Gates’ foundation into the league where it spends almost the amount of the entire annual budget of the United Nations’ World Health Organization.
So when Bill Gates decides through the Gates Foundation to invest some $30 million of their hard earned money in a project, it is worth looking at.
No project is more interesting at the moment than a curious project in one of the world’s most remote spots, Svalbard. Bill Gates is investing millions in a seed bank on the Barents Sea near the Arctic Ocean, some 1,100 kilometers from the North Pole. Svalbard is a barren piece of rock claimed by Norway and ceded in 1925 by international treaty.
On this God-forsaken island Bill Gates is investing tens of his millions along with the Rockefeller Foundation, Monsanto Corporation, Syngenta Foundation and the Government of Norway, among others, in what is called the ‘doomsday seed bank.’ Officially the project is named the Svalbard Global Seed Vault on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen, part of the Svalbard island group.
The seed bank is being built inside a mountain on Spitsbergen Island near the small village of Longyearbyen. It’s almost ready for ‘business’ according to their releases. The bank will have dual blast-proof doors with motion sensors, two airlocks, and walls of steel-reinforced concrete one meter thick. It will contain up to three million different varieties of seeds from the entire world, ‘so that crop diversity can be conserved for the future,’ according to the Norwegian government. Seeds will be specially wrapped to exclude moisture. There will be no full-time staff, but the vault’s relative inaccessibility will facilitate monitoring any possible human activity.
Did we miss something here? Their press release stated, ‘so that crop diversity can be conserved for the future.’ What future do the seed bank’s sponsors foresee, that would threaten the global availability of current seeds, almost all of which are already well protected in designated seed banks around the world?
Anytime Bill Gates, the Rockefeller Foundation, Monsanto and Syngenta get together on a common project, it’s worth digging a bit deeper behind the rocks on Spitsbergen. When we do, we find some fascinating things.
The first notable point is who is sponsoring the doomsday seed vault. Here joining the Norwegians are, as noted, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; the US agribusiness giant DuPont/Pioneer Hi-Bred, one of the world’s largest owners of patented genetically-modified (GMO) plant seeds and related agrichemicals; Syngenta, the Swiss-based major GMO seed and agrichemicals company through its Syngenta Foundation; the Rockefeller Foundation, the private group who created the “gene revolution with over $100 million of seed money since the 1970’s; CGIAR, the global network created by the Rockefeller Foundation to promote its ideal of genetic purity through agriculture change.
CGIAR and ‘The Project’
As I detailled in the book, Seeds of Destruction, in 1960 the Rockefeller Foundation, John D. Rockefeller III’s Agriculture Development Council and the Ford Foundation joined forces to create the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Los Baños, the Philippines. By 1971, the Rockefeller Foundation’s IRRI, along with their Mexico-based International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center and two other Rockefeller and Ford Foundation-created international research centers, the IITA for tropical agriculture, Nigeria, and IRRI for rice, Philippines, combined to form a global Consultative Group on International Agriculture Research (CGIAR).
CGIAR was shaped at a series of private conferences held at the Rockefeller Foundation’s conference center in Bellagio, Italy. Key participants at the Bellagio talks were the Rockefeller Foundation’s George Harrar, Ford Foundation’s Forrest Hill, Robert McNamara of the World Bank and Maurice Strong, the Rockefeller family’s international environmental organizer, who, as a Rockefeller Foundation Trustee, organized the UN Earth Summit in Stockholm in 1972. It was part of the foundation’s decades long focus to turn science to the service of eugenics, a hideous version of racial purity, what has been called The Project.
To ensure maximum impact, CGIAR drew in the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization, the UN Development Program and the World Bank. Thus, through a carefully-planned leverage of its initial funds, the Rockefeller Foundation by the beginning of the 1970’s was in a position to shape global agriculture policy. And shape it did.
Financed by generous Rockefeller and Ford Foundation study grants, CGIAR saw to it that leading Third World agriculture scientists and agronomists were brought to the US to ‘master’ the concepts of modern agribusiness production, in order to carry it back to their homeland. In the process they created an invaluable network of influence for US agribusiness promotion in those countries, most especially promotion of the GMO ‘Gene Revolution’ in developing countries, all in the name of science and efficient, free market agriculture.
Genetically engineering a master race?
Now the Svalbard Seed Bank begins to become interesting. But it gets better. ‘The Project’ I referred to is the project of the Rockefeller Foundation and powerful financial interests since the 1920’s to use eugenics, later renamed genetics, to justify creation of a genetically-engineered Master Race. Hitler and the Nazis called it the Ayran Master Race.
The eugenics of Hitler were financed to a major extent by the same Rockefeller Foundation which today is building a doomsday seed vault to preserve samples of every seed on our planet. Now this is getting really intriguing. The same Rockefeller Foundation created the pseudo-science discipline of molecular biology in their relentless pursuit of reducing human life down to the ‘defining gene sequence’ which, they hoped, could then be modified in order to change human traits at will. Hitler’s eugenics scientists, many of whom were quietly brought to the United States after the War to continue their biological eugenics research, laid much of the groundwork of genetic engineering of various life forms, much of it supported openly until well into the Third Reich by Rockefeller Foundation generous grants.
The same Rockefeller Foundation created the so-called Green Revolution, out of a trip to Mexico in 1946 by Nelson Rockefeller and former New Deal Secretary of Agriculture and founder of the Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Company, Henry Wallace.
The Green Revolution purported to solve the world hunger problem to a major degree in Mexico, India and other select countries where Rockefeller worked. Rockefeller Foundation agronomist, Norman Borlaug, won a Nobel Peace Prize for his work, hardly something to boast about with the likes of Henry Kissinger sharing the same.
In reality, as it years later emerged, the Green Revolution was a brilliant Rockefeller family scheme to develop a globalized agribusiness which they then could monopolize just as they had done in the world oil industry beginning a half century before. As Henry Kissinger declared in the 1970’s, ‘If you control the oil you control the country; if you control food, you control the population.’
Agribusiness and the Rockefeller Green Revolution went hand-in-hand. They were part of a grand strategy which included Rockefeller Foundation financing of research for the development of genetic engineering of plants and animals a few years later.
John H. Davis had been Assistant Agriculture Secretary under President Dwight Eisenhower in the early 1950’s. He left Washington in 1955 and went to the Harvard Graduate School of Business, an unusual place for an agriculture expert in those days. He had a clear strategy. In 1956, Davis wrote an article in the Harvard Business Review in which he declared that “the only way to solve the so-called farm problem once and for all, and avoid cumbersome government programs, is to progress from agriculture to agribusiness.” He knew precisely what he had in mind, though few others had a clue back then--- a revolution in agriculture production that would concentrate control of the food chain in corporate multinational hands, away from the traditional family farmer.

A crucial aspect driving the interest of the Rockefeller Foundation and US agribusiness companies was the fact that the Green Revolution was based on proliferation of new hybrid seeds in developing markets. One vital aspect of hybrid seeds was their lack of reproductive capacity. Hybrids had a built in protection against multiplication. Unlike normal open pollinated species whose seed gave yields similar to its parents, the yield of the seed borne by hybrid plants was significantly lower than that of the first generation.
That declining yield characteristic of hybrids meant farmers must normally buy seed every year in order to obtain high yields. Moreover, the lower yield of the second generation eliminated the trade in seed that was often done by seed producers without the breeder’s authorization. It prevented the redistribution of the commercial crop seed by middlemen. If the large multinational seed companies were able to control the parental seed lines in house, no competitor or farmer would be able to produce the hybrid. The global concentration of hybrid seed patents into a handful of giant seed companies, led by DuPont’s Pioneer Hi-Bred and Monsanto’s Dekalb laid the ground for the later GMO seed revolution.
In effect, the introduction of modern American agricultural technology, chemical fertilizers and commercial hybrid seeds all made local farmers in developing countries, particularly the larger more established ones, dependent on foreign, mostly US agribusiness and petro-chemical company inputs. It was a first step in what was to be a decades-long, carefully planned process.
Under the Green Revolution Agribusiness was making major inroads into markets which were previously of limited access to US exporters. The trend was later dubbed “market-oriented agriculture.” In reality it was agribusiness-controlled agriculture.
Through the Green Revolution, the Rockefeller Foundation and later Ford Foundation worked hand-in-hand shaping and supporting the foreign policy goals of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and of the CIA.
One major effect of the Green Revolution was to depopulate the countryside of peasants who were forced to flee into shantytown slums around the cities in desperate search for work. That was no accident; it was part of the plan to create cheap labor pools for forthcoming US multinational manufactures, the ‘globalization’ of recent years.
When the self-promotion around the Green Revolution died down, the results were quite different from what had been promised. Problems had arisen from indiscriminate use of the new chemical pesticides, often with serious health consequences. The mono-culture cultivation of new hybrid seed varieties decreased soil fertility and yields over time. The first results were impressive: double or even triple yields for some crops such as wheat and later corn in Mexico. That soon faded.
The Green Revolution was typically accompanied by large irrigation projects which often included World Bank loans to construct huge new dams, and flood previously settled areas and fertile farmland in the process. Also, super-wheat produced greater yields by saturating the soil with huge amounts of fertilizer per acre, the fertilizer being the product of nitrates and petroleum, commodities controlled by the Rockefeller-dominated Seven Sisters major oil companies.
Huge quantities of herbicides and pesticides were also used, creating additional markets for the oil and chemical giants. As one analyst put it, in effect, the Green Revolution was merely a chemical revolution. At no point could developing nations pay for the huge amounts of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. They would get the credit courtesy of the World Bank and special loans by Chase Bank and other large New York banks, backed by US Government guarantees.
Applied in a large number of developing countries, those loans went mostly to the large landowners. For the smaller peasants the situation worked differently. Small peasant farmers could not afford the chemical and other modern inputs and had to borrow money.
Initially various government programs tried to provide some loans to farmers so that they could purchase seeds and fertilizers. Farmers who could not participate in this kind of program had to borrow from the private sector. Because of the exorbitant interest rates for informal loans, many small farmers did not even get the benefits of the initial higher yields. After harvest, they had to sell most if not all of their produce to pay off loans and interest. They became dependent on money-lenders and traders and often lost their land. Even with soft loans from government agencies, growing subsistence crops gave way to the production of cash crops.
Since decades the same interests including the Rockefeller Foundation which backed the initial Green Revolution, have worked to promote a second ‘Gene Revolution’ as Rockefeller Foundation President Gordon Conway termed it several years ago, the spread of industrial agriculture and commercial inputs including GMO patented seeds.
Gates, Rockefeller and a Green Revolution in Africa
With the true background of the 1950’s Rockefeller Foundation Green Revolution clear in mind, it becomes especially curious that the same Rockefeller Foundation along with the Gates Foundation which are now investing millions of dollars in preserving every seed against a possible “doomsday” scenario are also investing millions in a project called The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa.
AGRA, as it calls itself, is an alliance again with the same Rockefeller Foundation which created the “Gene Revolution.” A look at the AGRA Board of Directors confirms this.

It includes none other than former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan as chairman. In his acceptance speech in a World Economic Forum event in Cape Town South Africa in June 2007, Kofi Annan stated, ‘I accept this challenge with gratitude to the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and all others who support our African campaign.’
In addition the AGRA board numbers a South African, Strive Masiyiwa who is a Trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation. It includes Sylvia M. Mathews of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Mamphela Ramphele, former Managing Director of the World Bank (2000 – 2006); Rajiv J. Shah of the Gates Foundation; Nadya K. Shmavonian of the Rockefeller Foundation; Roy Steiner of the Gates Foundation. In addition, an Alliance for AGRA includes Gary Toenniessen the Managing Director of the Rockefeller Foundation and Akinwumi Adesina, Associate Director, Rockefeller Foundation.
To fill out the lineup, the Programmes for AGRA includes Peter Matlon, Managing Director, Rockefeller Foundation; Joseph De Vries, Director of the Programme for Africa’s Seed Systems and Associate Director, Rockefeller foundation; Akinwumi Adesina, Associate Director, Rockefeller Foundation. Like the old failed Green Revolution in India and Mexico, the new Africa Green Revolution is clearly a high priority of the Rockefeller Foundation.
While to date they are keeping a low profile, Monsanto and the major GMO agribusiness giants are believed at the heart of using Kofi Annan’s AGRA to spread their patented GMO seeds across Africa under the deceptive label, ‘bio-technology,’ the new euphemism for genetically engineered patented seeds. To date South Africa is the only African country permitting legal planting of GMO crops. In 2003 Burkina Faso authorized GMO trials. In 2005 Kofi Annan’s Ghana drafted bio-safety legislation and key officials expressed their intentions to pursue research into GMO crops.
Africa is the next target in the US-government campaign to spread GMO worldwide. Its rich soils make it an ideal candidate. Not surprisingly many African governments suspect the worst from the GMO sponsors as a multitude of genetic engineering and biosafety projects have been initiated in Africa, with the aim of introducing GMOs into Africa’s agricultural systems. These include sponsorships offered by the US government to train African scientists in genetic engineering in the US, biosafety projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank; GMO research involving African indigenous food crops.
The Rockefeller Foundation has been working for years to promote, largely without success, projects to introduce GMOs into the fields of Africa. They have backed research that supports the applicability of GMO cotton in the Makhathini Flats in South Africa.
Monsanto, who has a strong foothold in South Africa’s seed industry, both GMO and hybrid, has conceived of an ingenious smallholders’ programme known as the ‘Seeds of Hope’ Campaign, which is introducing a green revolution package to small scale poor farmers, followed, of course, by Monsanto’s patented GMO seeds. Syngenta AG of Switzerland, one of the ‘Four Horsemen of the GMO Apocalypse’ is pouring millions of dollars into a new greenhouse facility in Nairobi, to develop GMO insect resistant maize. Syngenta is a part of CGIAR as well.
Move on to Svalbard
Now is it simply philosophical sloppiness? What leads the Gates and Rockefeller foundations to at one and the same time to back proliferation of patented and soon-to-be Terminator patented seeds across Africa, a process which, as it has in every other place on earth, destroys the plant seed varieties as monoculture industrialized agribusiness is introduced? At the same time they invest tens of millions of dollars to preserve every seed variety known in a bomb-proof doomsday vault near the remote Arctic Circle ‘so that crop diversity can be conserved for the future’ to restate their official release?
It is no accident that the Rockefeller and Gates foundations are teaming up to push a GMO-style Green Revolution in Africa at the same time they are quietly financing the ‘doomsday seed vault’ on Svalbard. The GMO agribusiness giants are up to their ears in the Svalbard project.
Indeed, the entire Svalbard enterprise and the people involved call up the worst catastrophe images of the Michael Crichton bestseller, Andromeda Strain, a sci-fi thriller where a deadly disease of extraterrestrial origin causes rapid, fatal clotting of the blood threatening the entire human species. In Svalbard, the future world’s most secure seed repository will be guarded by the policemen of the GMO Green Revolution—the Rockefeller and Gates Foundations, Syngenta, DuPont and CGIAR.
The Svalbard project will be run by an organization called the Global Crop Diversity Trust (GCDT). Who are they to hold such an awesome trust over the planet’s entire seed varieties? The GCDT was founded by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and Bioversity International (formerly the International Plant Genetic Research Institute), an offshoot of the CGIAR.
The Global Crop Diversity Trust is based in Rome. Its Board is chaired by Margaret Catley-Carlson a Canadian also on the advisory board of Group Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux, one of the world’s largest private water companies. Catley-Carlson was also president until 1998 of the New York-based Population Council, John D. Rockefeller’s population reduction organization, set up in 1952 to advance the Rockefeller family’s eugenics program under the cover of promoting “family planning,” birth control devices, sterilization and “population control” in developing countries.
Other GCDT board members include former Bank of America executive presently head of the Hollywood DreamWorks Animation, Lewis Coleman. Coleman is also the lead Board Director of Northrup Grumman Corporation, one of America’s largest military industry Pentagon contractors.
Jorio Dauster (Brazil) is also Board Chairman of Brasil Ecodiesel. He is a former Ambassador of Brazil to the European Union, and Chief Negotiator of Brazil’s foreign debt for the Ministry of Finance. Dauster has also served as President of the Brazilian Coffee Institute and as Coordinator of the Project for the Modernization of Brazil’s Patent System, which involves legalizing patents on seeds which are genetically modified, something until recently forbidden by Brazil’s laws.
Cary Fowler is the Trust’s Executive Director. Fowler was Professor and Director of Research in the Department for International Environment & Development Studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He was also a Senior Advisor to the Director General of Bioversity International. There he represented the Future Harvest Centres of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) in negotiations on the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources. In the 1990s, he headed the International Program on Plant Genetic Resources at the FAO. He drafted and supervised negotiations of FAO’s Global Plan of Action for Plant Genetic Resources, adopted by 150 countries in 1996. He is a past-member of the National Plant Genetic Resources Board of the US and the Board of Trustees of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center in Mexico, another Rockefeller Foundation and CGIAR project.
GCDT board member Dr. Mangala Rai of India is the Secretary of India’s Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), and Director General of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). He is also a Board Member of the Rockefeller Foundation’s International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), which promoted the world’s first major GMO experiment, the much-hyped ‘Golden Rice’ which proved a failure. Rai has served as Board Member for CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center), and a Member of the Executive Council of the CGIAR.
Global Crop Diversity Trust Donors or financial angels include as well, in the words of the Humphrey Bogart Casablanca classic, ‘all the usual suspects.’ As well as the Rockefeller and Gates Foundations, the Donors include GMO giants DuPont-Pioneer Hi-Bred, Syngenta of Basle Switzerland, CGIAR and the State Department’s energetically pro-GMO agency for development aid, USAID. Indeed it seems we have the GMO and population reduction foxes guarding the hen-house of mankind, the global seed diversity store in Svalbard.
Why now Svalbard?
We can legitimately ask why Bill Gates and the Rockefeller Foundation along with the major genetic engineering agribusiness giants such as DuPont and Syngenta, along with CGIAR are building the Doomsday Seed Vault in the Arctic.
Who uses such a seed bank in the first place? Plant breeders and researchers are the major users of gene banks. Today’s largest plant breeders are Monsanto, DuPont, Syngenta and Dow Chemical, the global plant-patenting GMO giants. Since early in 2007 Monsanto holds world patent rights together with the United States Government for plant so-called ‘Terminator’ or Genetic Use Restriction Technology (GURT). Terminator is an ominous technology by which a patented commercial seed commits ‘suicide’ after one harvest. Control by private seed companies is total. Such control and power over the food chain has never before in the history of mankind existed.

"SUICIDE SEEDS ARE HOMICIDE SEEDS; SAVE SEEDS__ TERMINATE TERMINATOR!"
This clever genetically engineered terminator trait forces farmers to return every year to Monsanto or other GMO seed suppliers to get new seeds for rice, soybeans, corn, wheat whatever major crops they need to feed their population. If broadly introduced around the world, it could within perhaps a decade or so make the world’s majority of food producers new feudal serfs in bondage to three or four giant seed companies such as Monsanto or DuPont or Dow Chemical.
That, of course, could also open the door to have those private companies, perhaps under orders from their host government, Washington, deny seeds to one or another developing country whose politics happened to go against Washington’s. Those who say ‘It can’t happen here’ should look more closely at current global events. The mere existence of that concentration of power in three or four private US-based agribusiness giants is grounds for legally banning all GMO crops even were their harvest gains real, which they manifestly are not.
These private companies, Monsanto, DuPont, Dow Chemical hardly have an unsullied record in terms of stewardship of human life. They developed and proliferated such innovations as dioxin, PCBs, Agent Orange. They covered up for decades clear evidence of carcinogenic and other severe human health consequences of use of the toxic chemicals. They have buried serious scientific reports that the world’s most widespread herbicide, glyphosate, the essential ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide that is tied to purchase of most Monsanto genetically engineered seeds, is toxic when it seeps into drinking water. Denmark banned glyphosate in 2003 when it confirmed it has contaminated the country’s groundwater.
The diversity stored in seed gene banks is the raw material for plant breeding and for a great deal of basic biological research. Several hundred thousand samples are distributed annually for such purposes. The UN’s FAO lists some 1400 seed banks around the world, the largest being held by the United States Government. Other large banks are held by China, Russia, Japan, India, South Korea, Germany and Canada in descending order of size. In addition, CGIAR operates a chain of seed banks in select centers around the world.
CGIAR, set up in 1972 by the Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation to spread their Green Revolution agribusiness model, controls most of the private seed banks from the Philippines to Syria to Kenya. In all these present seed banks hold more than six and a half million seed varieties, almost two million of which are ‘distinct.’ Svalbard’s Doomsday Vault will have a capacity to house four and a half million different seeds.
GMO as a weapon of biowarfare?
Now we come to the heart of the danger and the potential for misuse inherent in the Svalbard project of Bill Gates and the Rockefeller foundation. Can the development of patented seeds for most of the world’s major sustenance crops such as rice, corn, wheat, and feed grains such as soybeans ultimately be used in a horrible form of biological warfare?
The explicit aim of the eugenics lobby funded by wealthy elite families such as Rockefeller, Carnegie, Harriman and others since the 1920’s, has embodied what they termed ‘negative eugenics,’ the systematic killing off of undesired bloodlines. Margaret Sanger, a rapid eugenicist, the founder of Planned Parenthood International and an intimate of the Rockefeller family, created something called The Negro Project in 1939, based in Harlem, which as she confided in a letter to a friend, was all about the fact that, as she put it, ‘we want to exterminate the Negro population’.
A small California biotech company, Epicyte, in 2001 announced the development of genetically engineered corn which contained a spermicide which made the semen of men who ate it sterile. At the time Epicyte had a joint venture agreement to spread its technology with DuPont and Syngenta, two of the sponsors of the Svalbard Doomsday Seed Vault. Epicyte was since acquired by a North Carolina biotech company. Astonishing to learn was that Epicyte had developed its spermicidal GMO corn with research funds from the US Department of Agriculture, the same USDA which, despite worldwide opposition, continued to finance the development of Terminator technology, now held by Monsanto.
In the 1990’s the UN’s World Health Organization launched a campaign to vaccinate millions of women in Nicaragua, Mexico and the Philippines between the ages of 15 and 45, allegedly against Tentanus, a sickness arising from such things as stepping on a rusty nail. The vaccine was not given to men or boys, despite the fact they are presumably equally liable to step on rusty nails as women.
Because of that curious anomaly, Comite Pro Vida de Mexico, a Roman Catholic lay organization became suspicious and had vaccine samples tested. The tests revealed that the Tetanus vaccine being spread by the WHO only to women of child-bearing age contained human Chorionic Gonadotrophin or hCG, a natural hormone which when combined with a tetanus toxoid carrier stimulated antibodies rendering a woman incapable of maintaining a pregnancy. None of the women vaccinated were told.
It later came out that the Rockefeller Foundation along with the Rockefeller’s Population Council, the World Bank (home to CGIAR), and the United States’ National Institutes of Health had been involved in a 20-year-long project begun in 1972 to develop the concealed abortion vaccine with a tetanus carrier for WHO. In addition, the Government of Norway, the host to the Svalbard Doomsday Seed Vault, donated $41 million to develop the special abortive Tetanus vaccine. [12]
Is it a coincidence that these same organizations, from Norway to the Rockefeller Foundation to the World Bank are also involved in the Svalbard seed bank project? According to Prof. Francis Boyle who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 enacted by the US Congress, the Pentagon is ‘now gearing up to fight and win biological warfare’ as part of two Bush national strategy directives adopted, he notes, ‘without public knowledge and review’ in 2002. Boyle adds that in 2001-2004 alone the US Federal Government spent $14.5 billion for civilian bio-warfare-related work, a staggering sum.
Rutgers University biologist Richard Ebright estimates that over 300 scientific institutions and some 12,000 individuals in the USA today have access to pathogens suitable for biowarfare. Alone there are 497 US Government NIH grants for research into infectious diseases with biowarfare potential. Of course this is being justified under the rubric of defending against possible terror attack as so much is today.
Many of the US Government dollars spent on biowarfare research involve genetic engineering. MIT biology professor Jonathan King says that the ‘growing bio-terror programs represent a significant emerging danger to our own population.’ King adds, ‘while such programs are always called defensive, with biological weapons, defensive and offensive programs overlap almost completely.’ Time will tell whether, God Forbid, the Svalbard Doomsday Seed Bank of Bill Gates and the Rockefeller Foundation is part of another Final Solution, this involving the extinction of the Late, Great Planet Earth.

According to an unconfirmed report in the French Le Canard Enchaine of Wednesday, Oct. 14, Israel is preparing to bomb Iranian nuclear sites and pro-Iranian targets across the Middle East after December 2009. The prestigious satirical weekly reports that the IDF has notified special forces reservists abroad to get ready to return home in November for immediate drafting to the military operation against Iranian nuclear facilities. The weekly further reports Israel has ordered combat rations from a French firm for these reservists to stay on long-term missions far from home.
French military sources said that Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi met secretly in France with US armed forces Chief of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen and French Chief of Staff Gen. Jean-Louis Georgelin, to inform that Israel planned to attack Iran after December, when it became clear that the talks between the six powers and Tehran had failed to produce any benefit.
According to Le Canard Enchaine, Ashkenazi said Israel would not attack Iran by air but rather use ground forces in coordinated operations on several Middle East fronts.
DEBKAfile's military sources add that if the information leaked to the newspaper from French joint staffs sources is correct - and not a red herring to disguise the impending attack's real nature - the IDF may be expected to branch out from Iran's nuclear facilities to target its allies too, such as Syrian air force and missile batteries, Hizballah bases in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Le Canard Enchaine is not alone in predicting an Israeli attack on Iran after December. A former Israeli deputy defense minister, Efraim Sneh, commented to US and British media several times in the past week that if the US fails to rally fellow powers' support for toughened sanctions against Iran by Christmas, Israel will have to attack its nuclear installations. It may be assumed that Sneh was not just guessing on his own initiative.
Another sign of the growing military tensions surrounding the Iranian nuclear program was a phone conversation late Wednesday night between President Barack Obama and French President Nicola Sarkozy. The two discussed Iran. INTELLIGENCE chief Sir John Scarlett has been told that Saudi Arabia is ready to allow Israel to bomb Iran’s new nuclear site.
The head of MI6 discussed the issue in London with Mossad chief Meir Dagan and Saudi officials after British intelligence officers helped to uncover the plant, in the side of a mountain near the ancient city of Qom.
The site is seen as a major threat by Tel Aviv and Riyadh. Details of the talks emerged after John Bolton, America’s former UN ambassador, told a meeting of intelligence analysts that “Riyadh certainly approves” of Israel’s use of Saudi airspace.
Foreign Secretary David Miliband acknowledged that the danger of a nuclear arms race in the Middle East was “particularly potent” and refused to rule out military action altogether but he insisted: “We are 100 per cent focused on a diplomatic solution.”
Gordon Brown, US President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy have warned Iran’s leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that he must allow in weapons inspectors or face more sanctions.
The scene is set for a showdown next Thursday when Iranian officials meet representatives of the E3+3 group of Britain, France, Germany, the US, Russia and China in Geneva.
Significantly, Russia, which has previously resisted pressure for sanctions, said it also found the latest disclosures “disturbing”.
The site near Qom was detected three years ago by British, US and French intelligence agencies.
Diplomatic sources said it could hold 3,000 centrifuges, capable of making enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear bomb each year.

Is there any connection to Hadith? Hadith narrated by Nu’aim bin Hammad: “If there is a sound in month of Ramadan, there will be a riot in month of Syawwal..”. We asked: “What kind of voice is that, ya Rasulullah (Allah’s Apostle)?”. he answered: “The loud voice in middle of month Ramadan, night of Friday, there will be a real loud voice awake people who sleep, Sitting down the standee, will make girls come out from their secluding, in the night of Friday of the year which has series numbers of earth quake. If you have done your subuh prayer (morning prayer/ sholat Fajr)on that day go inside your home, close all the doors, and plug all if their holes, and cover yourself with blanket and cover/plug your ears. if at that time you feel a rumbling sound. kneel and bow your head (sujud) to Allah and say: Subhana Al-Quddus, Subhana Al-Quddus, Subhana Al-Quddus, Rabbana (Our Lord) Al-Quddus!”, because whoever do that thing will be survived and saved, otherwise will destroyed (died).The hadith is clear, talking about a big disaster. But Prophet Mohammed PBUH did not say anything about comet, nibiru planet, or something like that. But he knows better about everything what will happen in the future. I guess he know what will happen but he did not mentioned the “technical terms” of something happen. But he knows better that disaster will bring the real destruction.
The clues from hadith above are:
1. It will happen in the mid of Ramadan, night of Friday.After reading that hadith, i tried to check and clarify about: when will the date for the exact 14th or 15th (mid of the month Ramadan, because 1 month ramadan is equal to 29 days) to be matched with Thursday night. Then, I came to shock to check the date on the Ramadan 1433 Hijriah, and it is only the year that has the 14th on Thursday and 15th on Friday. And if we convert that date into our Gregorian calender, we will obtain 2012 A.D., and it is exactly 2012.So, I believe that it is a high possibility for that day will something happen like the previous above explanation.

2. In the year with series numbers of earthquake.The next clue is about the symptom. We will recognize the symptom of the destruction day by recognizing the clue: they are series numbers of earthquake. But I think, these phenomenas have been occuring for many times for different places, so we are familiar with that kind of things, aren’t we? And i think they are the signs about that phenomena (of destruction day)will come soon. Remember, 2012 is about 3 years remaining. So, what things have you prepared for?

Conclusion:From the above explaination, we can conclude that there is something wrong in 2012. But each of the prophecy has their version. Mayan Calender noted that December 21st, 2012. Scientific Research support that opinion but do not state the exact time. While, Islam through hadith explained that there will be something big happen, but not stated the exact time. But the symptom is clear: night before Friday in the mid of ramadan, in the same year that has a lot of earthquake. After checking the islamic calender (Hijriah calender), the only day for night of Friday to be matched with mid of ramadan is only in 1433H or in 2012 A.D.As a moslem, I believe that in 2012, the day will be in August 14th, 2012. One day, Author read the news from Media Umat tabloid about the Obama’s plan in 2009 to withdraw the troops from Iraq. I thought it was a good news for Moslem. But in fact, he withdraw his troops to put it in Pakistan and Afganistan. It seems that it will be more bloody war than previously.I remembered couple months a go, I bought a book entitled: October 2015 Imam Mahdi will come (written by: Jaber Bolushi) and Huru Hara Akhir Zaman (written by: Amin Muhammad Jamaluddin). They came from different author.The book titled October 2015, Imam Mahdi akan datang (October 2015, Imam Mahdi will came) that written by Jaber Bolushi has original titled Dzuhur al-Mahdi ‘am 2015 Nubu’ah Qur’aniyah. Jaber Bloushi wrote about the miracle of Qur’an by using Al-Jumal al-Taqlidi and al-Jamal al-Saghir. He used those formula and briefly explain the date of Imam Mahdi’s arrival in 2015.Another book titled Huru Hara Akhir Zaman that written by: Amin Muhammad Jamaluddin, the student graduated from Kairo university. In this book, I just concerned about the Hadith. The Hadith stated in page 36:“There will be a black flaq belong to Bani Abbas, then appear from Khurasan (Afganistan) another Black Flag, their headdress are black and their dress are white..” till he said: “the distance between their arrival untill the transfer of the matter are 72 months”Can you calculate how long is 72 months? It is absolutely 6 years. How about if Imam Mahdi came in 2015? What it means? It means that 6 years before the Imam Mahdi’s arrival (2015) is transfer of problem from the Islamic troops with black flag to Imam Mahdi. It means: 2015 – 6 years: 2009. It is now! If we translate to english: “During the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, the seat will be occupied by Peter of Rome, who will feed his sheep in many tribulations; and when these things are finished, the seven-hilled city will be destroyed, and the terrible Judge will judge his people. The End.”
What Saint Malachy’s means? it is clear that the prophecy in Vatican is going to end after the prophecy of “Gloria Olivae” Benedict XVI. And will be came up the guy called Peter of Rome. Lets combine with the Hadith of Rasulullah.
Prophet Mohammed PBUH said that: ‘no further prophets will come to earth until ‘Isa (jesus) returns as ‘a man of medium height, or reddish complexion, wearing two light garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head although it will not be wet. He will fight for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill pigs, charge jizyah (tax over non moslem) and create the justice in society. Allah will destroy all religions except Islam. He (‘Isa-jesus) will destroy the Evil One and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die’. (Sunan Abu Dawud, 37:4310).
Do you know what am i talking about? Yes, you must be understand what i mean, i guess the next pope after this pope is about Isa-jesus that we have been awaiting him long long time a go. He is not pope but will show the truth in the Vatican. I could be wrong, but i’ll tell you the logic thing: in Islam, jesus is recognized as prophet named Isa. Isa was not cruscided in the cross. The guy was cruscided was Yudas. Yudas is the Isa’s betray follower. As mentioned in Matt. 26:23-25 and Hadith Rasulullah PBUH. Isa was taken by Allah that will be come again to the earth after prophet Rasulullah PBUH and in the era that close to the end of the day.
As mentioned early that stated in Hadith, Isa will break the cross, kill pigs, and charge jizyah (tax over non moslem). And Saint Malachy stated that he will feed his sheep in many tribulations; and when these things are finished, the seven-hilled city will be destroyed, and the terrible Judge will judge his people.
From the above statement is quite simple to be summarized and they are perfectly same. You can see that the next pope will feed his “sheep” in many tribulations, it means that his followers will be shock to see what they have followed is totally wrong. They are in wrong way. Since their god (jesus) worship the other God (Allah Subhanawataala). And the truth will begin. And Isa-jesus actually dont like to be God, he dont want to be worshiped. Since his propechy in long long time a go (together with his follower), he spread to worship the One God, not three Gods or trinity (as mentioned in Bible in Yoh 17:3 and Matius 4:10), or even worship me!! The prove that he will feed his sheep in many tribulations are by breaking the cross and killing pigs. We have already known that Isa-jesus is not like to be worshiped, the prove is by breaking the cross (the cross as a symbol of christian worship). And Isa Jesus hate to eat porks-pigs as forbid in Qur’an and Bible. It can be proven by killing the pigs.
Isa-jesus will make Islam became bigger, charge the jizyah (tax over non moslem), create the justice in society (by spreading the property untill no one won’t to receive it because they have already welfare). Isa-jesus also hate the other religions and will destroy them except Islam. It could be proven in the hadith that Allah will destroy all religion except Islam, also perfectly same with Saint Malachy’s prediction that he will destroy seven-hilled city (Vatican Rome is located in seven hilled, it is perfectly same).
Even jaber Bolushi also predicted using Al jamal al Taqlidi and al Jamal al Saghir formulation and written in his book entitled “Dzuhur al-Mahdi ‘am 2015 Nubu’ah Qur’aniyah”. He stated that 111, is the last pope, is also the verse in al-Isra, Al-Qur’an that talks about the come of Isa-jesus. It is just perfectly same again.

Ces engins assourdisants sont décrits comme « des armes non létales » produites par une multinationale de technologie américaine, mais Ils émettent des sons douloureux de 151db ayant une portée terrestre de 300 mètres et sont utilisés en zone de guerre et pour contrer des manifestations. Une exposition prolongée est mortelle pour tout organisme vivant. » Juan Almendares, un médecin hondurien et dirigeant d’une organisation de protection des droits de l’homme a déclaré : « Les occupants de l’ambassade du Brésil aux côtés du président Manuel Zelaya Rosales, sa femme et sa famille, des communautés et des manifestants, sont victimes d’aspersion de produits chimiques par hélicoptères et par avions ou par des troupes, et de l’utilisation d’équipements sonores et électromagnétiques sophistiqués qui provoquent de sévères diarrhées, des vomissements, des saignements de nez et des problèmes gastro-intestinaux à la fois dans l’ambassade et dans des zones avoisinantes. « Selon les rapports médicaux, cela pourrait être du à l’utilisation de substances toxiques dont : des pesticides, des composants chimiques de gaz, des substances radioactives comme le césium radioactif et des champignons toxiques. « Il est urgent qu’une équipe médicale internationale de l’ONU et de l’OMS soit envoyée sur place. Nous sommes confrontés à une guerre illégale contre le peuple d’Honduras. Les forces armées n’autorisent pas la Croix Rouge Internationale à entrer dans l’ambassade du Brésil, violant tous les traités de santé internationaux et les conventions sur les droits de l’homme ». Si l’utilisation de césium est confirmée les conséquences seraient très graves. Selon l’Agence sur les Substances Toxiques et l’Enregistrement des Maladies, les effets de taux élevés de césium peuvent provoquer outre les symptômes cités ci-dessus, le coma et la mort. C’est ce que l’on appelle l’effet « jour d’après » des bombes atomiques. Pour l’Agence,« il faut s’attendre à ce que des individus exposés à des taux élevés de radiation d’une source telle que le césium radioactif développent les mêmes types de cancers observés chez les survivants des bombes atomiques lancées sur le Japon par les US. » La Convention de Vienne protège les ambassades et toute violation de cette protection est un problème international. Des mercenaires israéliens pour assassiner Zelaya Le Président du Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, rentré récemment dans son pays après trois mois d’exil et réfugié à l’ambassade du Brésil accuse les putschistes d’avoir recruté des mercenaires israéliens pour le torturer en utilisant des ultrasons et des gaz neuro-toxiques et que ces mercenaires sionistes brouillent les communications en utilisant des appareils électroniques qui perturbent les activités cérébrales. Lors d’une conversation qu’il a eu avec le Miami Tribune, Zelaya a dit qu’il avait commencé à souffrir de maux de gorge du à des gaz toxiques introduits dans l’ambassade brésilienne à Tegucigalpa. Il a aussi dit qu’il craint que des mercenaires israéliens engagés par les usurpateurs de la clique de Roberto Micheletti , auto proclamé nouveau président, réussissent à pénétrer dans le bâtiment et viennent l’assassiner. Les mercenaires israéliens se sont spécialisés dans les opérations de contre insurrection mettant leur savoir faire high tech et leur dextérité de tueurs au service des dictatures en Amérique Latine, mais aussi en Afrique, en fait, aux quatre coins de la planète. Certains anciens experts des renseignements militaires israéliens ont formé un commando au service de la dictature colombienne pour mater les révoltes populaires, selon Amada Benavides de Perez ancienne directrice de la faculté des droits de l’homme à l’école des hautes études d’administration publique en Colombie, l’une des cinq membres du groupe de travail de l’ONU sur l’utilisation des mercenaires comme moyen de violer les droits de l’homme et faire obstacle à l’exercice du droit des peuples à l’auto détermination. Ce groupe de mercenaires israéliens, « experts en logistique » travaille pour le ministre de la défense colombienne et la plupart des succès militaires de l’armée colombienne contre les FARCs sont dus aux renseignements fournis par ces mercenaires israéliens selon Benavides. L’utilisation de mercenaires viole la Convention Internationale de l'ONU contre le Recrutement, l’ Utilisation, le Financement, et l’Entraînement de Mercenaires entrée en vigueur en 2001.

Une attaque contre l’Iran ne serait qu’un prélude à la réalisation des véritables objectifs d’Israël

Après avoir attaqué l’Iran (notez bien que je n’écris pas : ‘si Israël attaque l’Iran’), Israël s’en prendra vraisemblablement simultanément au Hamas à Gaza et au Hezbollah au Liban ; il reprendra aussi un contrôle total sur la Cisjordanie occupée. Il s’emparera totalement de la Cisjordanie parce qu’en dépit des différends entre le Hamas et le Fatah, une telle agression massive des Israéliens sera considérée non seulement comme une attaque contre le Hamas, mais bien comme une agression contre le peuple palestinien dans son ensemble.

Les Palestiniens découvriront très vite qu’une attaque aussi massive n’a en réalité qu’un seul but : détruire toute résistance palestinienne, qu’elle soit du type Fatah ou du type Hamas, l’occupation totale de tous les territoires palestiniens, la soumission de la totalité du peuple palestinien et la dissolution de l’Autorité palestinienne, mettant fin, une bonne fois pour toutes, à tout espoir d’édification d’un Etat palestinien. L’armée israélienne attaquera aussi le sud du Liban, dans le but de l’occuper et d’y détruire jusqu’à la moindre trace du Hezbollah. Tout cela sera fait au prétexte que le Hamas et le Hezbollah procéderaient vraisemblablement à des représailles contre Israël dans l’éventualité où celui-ci attaquerait l’Iran et que les attaques israéliennes contre les Palestiniens et le Hezbollah (libanais) seraient considérées en Occident comme rien de plus que des actions préemptives visant à dissuader ces mouvements, en lesquels Israël et l’Occident ne voient que des « supplétifs de l’Iran » à procéder à des frappes de représailles contre Israël. Pour la plupart des observateurs et des décideurs occidentaux, les actions d’Israël contre les Palestiniens et le Hezbollah seront considérées comme une simple action nécessaire, dans le cadre de l’ « événement » principal : l’attaque contre l’Iran. Alors qu’il y a encore seulement quelques semaines il semblait qu’Israël allait devoir partir en guerre tout seul, ou tout au moins passer à l’action le premier contre l’Iran, il semble aujourd’hui, à la lumière d’événements récents aux Etats-Unis et à l’Assemblée générale de l’Onu, ainsi que de révélations au sujet d’une usine nucléaire iranienne soi-disant « secrète » et de déclarations faites au cours de conférences de presse lors du sommet du G-20, que les Etats-Unis seraient peut-être plus enclins à procéder eux-mêmes à une première frappe contre l’Iran, ou à donner le feu vert à Israël pour déclencher une première vague de bombardements, après quoi les Etats-Unis finiraient le tsahal boulot à la place des Israéliens, pendant que ceux-ci seraient en train d’achever le Hezbollah et les Palestiniens. Une attaque contre l’Iran ne saurait se limiter à la simple destruction des installations nucléaires de ce pays – cette partie de l’attaque ne visant qu’à justifier l’agression dans son ensemble, à des fins de propagande -, les Etats-Unis devraient aussi lancer des attaques massives contre l’armée et contre les institutions gouvernementales de l’Iran, afin de contraindre les Iraniens à capituler devant les exigences américaines, qui comporteraient l’éviction du pouvoir non seulement d’Ahmadinejad, mais aussi des mollahs, et l’installation d’un gouvernement provisoire nommé par l’Onu (pour la galerie, l’Onu se contentant de reprendre les noms que lui dicteraient les Américains). La guerre contre l’Iran sera tellement massive que les attaques simultanées d’Israël contre le Hezbollah et contre les Palestiniens n’apparaîtraient, aux yeux de l’Occident, que comme de la figuration marginale du grand « show ». Pourtant, l’opération, dans son ensemble, vise moins à mettre l’Iran à genoux qu’à permettre à Israël de parachever son ambition de toujours, à savoir créer un Grand Israël éternel. Pour Israël et les Etats-Unis, ce sont plusieurs oiseaux qui seront tués par le même caillou : Israël y gagne la Cisjordanie, la bande de Gaza, une Syrie totalement impuissante et l’accès au fleuve Litani, dans le Sud du Liban, après avoir totalement détruit le Hezbollah. Les Etats-Unis reçoivent en étrennes un gouvernement à leurs bottes en Iran, lequel, à son tour, leur donnera bien plus de puissance à la fois en Irak et en Afghanistan, un Iran théocratique exerçant une influence non négligeable dans ces deux pays ayant disparu. Pour Israël et les Etats-Unis, cette attaque programmée contre leurs ennemis communs n’a strictement rien à voir avec le « programme nucléaire militaire de l’Iran », et tout à voir, en revanche, avec un ensemble d’événements minutieusement planifiés et calculés, recourant à une campagne de propagande incessante d’ampleur mondiale, qui culminera dans la réalisation concrète et pour le long terme des objectifs des sionistes d’Israël et des néoconservateurs américains [qui continuent à tirer les ficelles du monde, mais en ayant changé les marionnettes, ndt].

'Lost tribe of Israel' arrives in Zionist State

TEL AVIV – One-hundred-seventy-four people from a group of thousands in India that believes it is one of the 10 "lost tribes" of Israel landed here this week, fulfilling for many a life-long dream of returning to what they consider their homeland.
Shavei Israel, a Jerusalem-based organization led by American Michael Freund, hopes to bring to the Jewish state the remaining 7,000 Indian citizens who believe they are the Bnei Menashe, the descendants of Manasseh, one of biblical patriarch Joseph's two sons and a grandson of Jacob.
The tribe lives in the two Indian states of Mizoram and Manipur, to which they claim to have been exiled from Israel more than 2,700 years ago by the Assyrian empire.
"I truly believe this is a miracle of immense historical and even biblical significance," Freund told WND as the group of 174 arrived here earlier this week.
"Just as the prophets foretold so long ago, the lost tribes of Israel are being brought back from the exile," said Freund, who previously served as deputy communications director under former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Another planeload of 57 Bnei Menashe is slated to touch down in Israel tomorrow.
The group, which has preserved ancient Jewish customs and rituals, has been trying the past 50 years to return to Israel.
Over the last decade, Freund's Shavei Israel, at times working with other organizations, brought about 1,200 Bnei Menashe members to the Jewish state. Many settled in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. About 80 lived in Gaza's slate of Jewish communities, which were evacuated by the Israeli government in 2005.
The original batches of Bnei Menashe to arrive here were brought to Israel as tourists in an agreement with Israel's Interior Ministry. Once here, the Bnei Menashe converted officially to Judaism and became citizens.
But diplomatic wrangling halted the immigration process in 2003, with officials from some Israeli ministries refusing to grant the rest of the group still in India permission to travel here.

To smooth the process, Freund enlisted the help of Israel's chief rabbinate, which flew to India in 2005 to meet with and consider converting members of the Bnei Menashe. Once legally Jewish, the tribe can apply for Israeli citizenship under the country's "Law of Return," which guarantees sanctuary to Jews from around the world.
Six rabbis were sent by Israel's Sephardic chief rabbi, Shlomo Amar, to begin converting the Bnei Menashe. The rabbis met with hundreds of tribal members, testing their knowledge of Judaism and assessing their conviction, converting 216 individuals – over 90 percent of the members interviewed.
"The rabbis were incredibly impressed with the Bnei Menashe," said Freund. "They saw for themselves that the group is very serious and should be integrated into the Jewish nation. That they are a blessing to the state of Israel."
Last year, 218 converted members arrived in Israel. Freund hoped to repeat the process for 231 more Bnei Menashe who had been approved for conversion, but the Indian government, which heavily restricts conversions, put a halt on the plan.

Instead, the batch of Bnei Menashe that arrived this week were brought to Israel as tourists in coordination with the Israeli government. Once here, the tribe will be officially converted by the country's chief rabbinate and qualify for Israeli citizenship.
The new immigrants will spend the next few months studying Hebrew and Judaism at a Shavei Israel absorption center in northern Israel.
The Bnei Menashe that arrived here over the years have fully transited into Israeli society. Many attended college and rabbinic school, moved to major Israeli communities and even joined the Israel Defense Forces.
Twelve Bnei Menashe served in the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip and in Lebanon in 2006. One of them, Avi Hanshing, a 22-year old paratrooper, was injured during a clash with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Hanshing's father was among those who arrived here earlier this week in an emotional reunion at Israel's international airport.
"As much as we might think that Israel is helping the Bnei Menashe, it is the reverse that is true. It is they who strengthen us – with their faith, with their commitment and with their undying love for Zion," said Freund.

According to Bnei Menashe oral tradition, the tribe was exiled from Israel and pushed to the east, eventually settling in the border regions of China and India, where most remain today. Most kept customs similar to Jewish tradition, including observing Shabbat, keeping the laws of Kosher, practicing circumcision on the eighth day of a baby boy's life and observing laws of family purity.
In the 1950s, several thousand Bnei Menashe say they set out on foot to Israel but were quickly halted by Indian authorities. Undeterred, many began practicing Orthodox Judaism and pledged to make it to Israel. They now attend community centers established by Shavei Israel to teach the Bnei Menashe Jewish tradition and modern Hebrew.
Freund said he hopes the arrival this week of more Bnei Menashe would "jump-start the process of bringing back the rest of the 7,000 Bnei Menashe who are in India yearning to return home."
